Who we are

Dave Barry, doing business as Outrider (“we,” “us,” or “our”), provides the Outrider mobile application and related services (the “Service”). This policy explains what information the Service handles, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

The Service is designed for touring bands, their members, and production teams. It is not directed to children under 13, or the applicable minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Outrider, we may handle the following information:

• Account information: your name, email address, password hash, organization, and authentication identifiers supplied by a sign-in provider.
• Organization and tour information: organization membership, roles, tour names and date ranges, shows, venues, addresses, production contacts, schedules, lodging, and related Day Sheet details.
• Documents and collaboration content: setlists, song information and lyrics you enter, guest-list entries, riders, stage plots, and tour messages.
• Notification settings: alert timing, muted tours, notification permission state, and information needed to schedule local set-time reminders on your device.
• Calendar information: when you request a private calendar link, the link provides access to your organization’s tour schedule. Keep that link private; anyone who has it may be able to view the schedule feed until you reset it.
• Subscription information: subscription status, purchase source, product or plan information, and renewal dates. Depending on the purchase path offered, billing services may include Stripe, Apple, Google Play, or RevenueCat. We do not store your full payment-card number.
• Operational information: basic request logs such as timestamps, endpoints, response statuses, and security-related information needed to operate and protect the Service.

How we use information

• Create and secure accounts and authenticate requests.
• Provide, synchronize, and maintain your organization’s tour information.
• Show shared organization content to the members who are authorized to access it.
• Send or display show-change information and schedule reminders when you enable those features.
• Enforce free-plan limits and process or verify subscriptions.
• Maintain reliability, prevent abuse, investigate security issues, and communicate with you about the Service.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers that host, store, secure, or help operate the Service, including hosting/database providers, authentication providers, notification services, and subscription or payment providers when applicable.
• Your organization members. Tour, show, setlist, guest-list, rider, stage-plot, venue, and message content is shared with authorized members of the organization so the team can collaborate.
• Legal authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• A successor entity if Outrider is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable notice requirements.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and organization information while it is needed to provide the Service and for legitimate operational, security, legal, or billing purposes.

You can initiate account deletion from Settings. Deleting an account removes the user record. If the user is the only member of the organization, the organization and its organization-owned data are deleted as well. If other members remain, ownership may need to be transferred before the last owner can delete their account, and organization data may remain available to the organization.

Billing providers may retain transaction and subscription records under their own policies and legal obligations. Operational logs, backups, or records that must be retained for security or legal reasons may remain for a limited period.

Your choices

• Access and update: view and edit much of your organization’s information directly in the app.
• Delete: initiate account deletion from Settings.
• Notifications: manage notification permission, set-time reminder timing, and per-tour alert muting in Settings.
• Calendar access: reset a private calendar link if you believe it has been shared or exposed.

Security

We use measures intended to protect information, including password hashing, encrypted connections, access controls, and signed authentication tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. The protections that apply to your information may differ depending on the location and applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will update the date shown above and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate.
